You! We have created this platform as a safe, supportive space for women running a campaign or women who'd like to support women who are running for office.

You'll find our community guidelines useful. 

Community guidelines are essential for setting expectations, fostering a positive environment, and ensuring respectful interactions among members.

Welcome to the Women for Election community platform RISE UP.

Remember that this community belongs to all of its members, and we ask you to contribute actively to its growth and success by adhering to these guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.

Women for Election reserves the right to remove people from the community if they are not acting in a manner which aligns with these guidelines:

1. Privacy: Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information about fellow members without their explicit consent.
2. Respect: Treat every member with courtesy and respect. We do not allow offensive language, discrimination, harassment or personal attacks.
3. Constructive communication: Engage in discussions thoughtfully and constructively. Provide feedback in a respectful manner, focusing on ideas rather than individuals.
4. Community support: Offer help and support to fellow members whenever possible. Share your knowledge and experiences to contribute positively to the community.
5. Content Guidelines: Ensure all content shared aligns with the community’s purpose and values. Avoid spam, promotional content, or irrelevant posts.
6. Intellectual Property: Respect copyright and intellectual property rights. Do not share content that you do not have the right to distribute.
7. Safety: Maintain a safe environment for all members. Report any inappropriate behaviour or content to the community moderators.
8. Stay on-topic: Keep discussions relevant to the community’s theme or purpose. Off-topic posts may be removed to maintain focus.
9. Accountability: Take responsibility for your words – and actions. If you make a mistake, apologise and try to rectify the situation.
10. Continuous learning: Embrace diversity of thought and perspectives. Be open to learning from others and engage in meaningful dialogue.

We have two different types of challenges. The first is ongoing for new members: introduce yourself – it gives you an opportunity to connect with the members on the platform. The second ones are challenges that change each month, they are either FUN or related to content we are teaching.
